Wines for the Holiday Season

We’ve selected a wide variety of wines for the holiday season, each perfect for celebrating in their own way.

  • Alsace Gentil “Hugel” – This wonderful French wine is made of a wide variety of white grapes for an even wider range of qualities, including Gewerztraminer, Sylvaner, Riesiling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Muscat.
  • Cloudline Willamette Valley Pinot Noir – The winemaker describes this Pinot Noir as “clear, accessible, fruit forward”. Cloudline comes to us from Oregon, but has found an audience across the world, from Brazil to Japan.
  • Beauvignac – Le Moelleux Cotes De Thau – A French wine made from 60% Colombard and 40% Picpoul Pinet.To retain a unique level of sweetness, fermentation is stopped early during the wine making process.
  • George Dubeuf Beajolais Nouveau – A seasonal favorite, Beaujolais Nouveau is a celebration of the first harvest. Light and fruity, this is a perfect wine for any celebration or holiday.
  • Francois Montand Brut – A popular French sparkling blend of Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Chardonnay, described by the winemakers as “creamy and smooth, with lingering aromas of freshly baked bread, golden delicious apples and Meyer lemon.”
  • Francois Montand Brut Rose – The Rose variety of this staple sparkling wine is made from Grenache and Cinsault, described as “itense and fine…crisp and dry, with a clean and pleasant finish of red berries”.
  • Pike Road Pinot Noir – Another special wine from Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Pike Road takes grapes from multiple vineyards, for a taste they describe as “notes of black current, baking spices, violets, and sweet oak.”
