Llama & Alain de La Treille Cabernet Francs

We’ve selected a pair of special Cabernet Francs for this month’s featured wines.

Llama 2018 Cabernet Franc – Belasco De Baquedano
While the wines of Belasco De Baquedano have a deep history, Llama 2018 Cabernet Franc is described as a “modern wine”. The winemaker’s tasting notes include:

“Fruity aromas, ripe black fruits, stand out against a background of fine toasty hints from ageing in top-quality oak.”

Alaine De La Treille Cabernet Franc
Alaine De La Treille Cabernet Franc comes from the Loire Valley region of France. The wine is named for the memory of a local farmer, wine drinker and friend of the winemaker, who describes Alaine De La Treille as:

“…Perfumed, showing juicy red & black fruit and spices…soft tannins lend structure and create a delightfully fruity red wine.”
