Sparkling Wine for the Holidays!

Oudinot-Lanson-Masottina

We’ve selected some of our favorite sparkling wines to feature this holiday season. Celebrate the new year in style with any of these wonderful bottles of bubbles.

Masottina Prosecco Brut – This one earned a whopping 96 pts from Decanter magazine, described by the Washington Post as “steps above the pardigm of simply bubbles to add an appealing layer of red berries and other tart fruits.”

Lanson 1760 Rosé Champagne – Despite the name, Lanson Rosé Champagne, was created in the 1950’s. Still, that gives weight to the winemakers claim that this is the first Rosé champagne ever made. This french treat is a blend of 53% Pinot Noir, 32% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier.

Oudinot Cuvee Brut Champagne – This is one the more popular champagnes worldwide. Oudinot champagnes are often considered the best deal when searching for a bottle of true champagne. Oudinot Cuvee Brut is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. Critics note a very sophisticated citrus flavor.
